Brief Answer:
Don't worry, it is non contagious

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Measles like infection that is fever with rash can happen after MMR vaccine. I won't get overly worried as this measles is mild in almost all cases and it is non contagious as virus from vaccinated person does not spread to others.

Giving paracetamol for fever and plenty of fluids to keep the child hydrated well helps. You can apply some calamine lotion on the rashes. Post vaccinated rashes don't last longer like usual measles and usually subsides within 3-4 days. If there are no other associated symptoms I hope you can travel with the baby safely after 5 days.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any more queries. Wishing for good health of your child.

Regards
