Why Did An Indent Appear On The Left Side Of My Lower Back Like A Bruise?

default
Posted on Mon, 4 Apr 2022
Question: I had an indent appear on the left side of my lower back, it appears to be getting deeper and when I stretched it today, I can actually see something there, like a bruise or that something was forming there (like a scar) but it doesn’t hurt, it’s never bothered me (other than there’s like a hole in my side) I have pictures I took also.

Brief Answer:
Probably lumbar lordosis.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

In my opinion, your symptoms can be related to lumbar lordosis.

The picture would be very helpful to confirm the diagnosis. You can simply upload/attach it here to the reports section for my review.

Some other pieces of information needed are:
- Your age
- Your gender
- The medical history and if you suffer from other diseases

There are many medical conditions that can cause lumbar lordosis.
Obesity and poor sitting posture are the main causes.
An MRI should be done to confirm the diagnosis.

I will be waiting for your pictures and other information requested for further evaluation and assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
