Question: I have been treated for acute pancreatitis about 14 years ago. I am on medication having NEKSIUM before breakfast and PANLIPASE after breakfast for many years continuously till date. I have suddenly developed the same symptoms of pain just above the stomach and uncomfortable. Tried taking OMEZ along with BUSCOPAN from yesterday. The pain is now on and off. Have been avoiding Oily foods, fatty foods and Spicy foods. Rice cake with a little sambar in the morning. Afternoon had a little rice with Sambar and fish (Boiled) felt better. Had a glass of tender coconut about 20 minutes ago and now the pain seems to have increased a bit. Is tender coconut water bad for Pancreatitis? Also let me know if I can have Bananas. I would also like you to suggest what foods to take for the next few days. Thank you.

Thank you Doctor. My responses:

1) Pain is not very intense. On and Off. I little more uncomfortable at times
2) Pain just above the stomach area. Like when you have acidity. Not in the abdominal areas. No Vomitting.

After light dinner and rest for about an hour, i consumed a glass of tender coconut water and the pain again started in 20 mins.
