Brief Answer:
Management of bursitis, cervical radiculopathy

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

From your history, it seems that the shoulder pain is contributed by a combination of bursitis and cervical radiculopathy (pinched nerve). It can take up to 6 months or even longer for the pain to completely subside with appropriate treatment.
Management includes
- Physical therapy
- Using neck collar or brace until the acute pain subsides
- Advil 400 mg thrice daily for pain
- Corticosteroid injection into the joints to reduce pain and inflammation
- You can also use TENS therapy to relax muscles and relieve pain

Please be advised to follow up with your treating physician for necessary management.

Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need further clarification.
Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi
