Brief Answer:
Possible nerve compression.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Thanks for your query...

"As" per your clinical history is concerned please follow like this -

1) Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor [Neurologist] and to confirm do few tests like [MRI scan and Myelogram].

2) Try to avoid painful positions and continue on pain medication as prescribed by your Doctor along with cortisone injections.

3) Discuss with your physiotherapist for a specific exercise plan and do it regularly.

Do follow lifestyle modifications like this -

1) Do exercise to strengthening the trunk muscles that help stabilize and support the spine.

2) Try to maintain good posture. Good posture reduces the pressure on your spine. Keep your back straight and aligned, particularly when sitting for long periods. Lift heavy objects properly.

3) Try to maintain a healthy weight. Excess weights put more pressure on the spine, making them more susceptible to herniation.

Hope that helps...
