Genitofemoral nerve pain presents as numbness and burning pain over the lower abdomen that radiates into the inner thigh and the bottom of the scrotum and possibly the testicle. The pain does not radiate below the knee. The pain is made worse by extension of the lumbar spine, which puts traction on the nerve. Patients suffering from genitofemoral nerve pain will often assume a bent-forward position. There may also be weakness in the lower abdominal wall muscles. I hope this is of help to you.
