What Tests Are Required For Identifying An Allergy?

default
Posted on Tue, 19 Sep 2017
Question: Hi doctor,
I guess I am allergic to something as I have sudden sneezes along with mucus in white color and this is not frequent like a running nose. The season here is rainy and fluctuates daily. I wanted to know what test to take to identify allergy for a number of parameters. I then had a total IGE test with a result of 593.5 IU/ML. I was not happy with this test as it did not show what I am allergic to. Could you specify the name of the test to be undertaken

I'm quite sure its something related to the air, is it useful if I know this through the test? Will it help in solving my allergy?
