It depends on the abnormalities detected on the previous scan. If the anomaly scan was normal and there is no complaint like abdominal pain or vaginal discharge or decreased fetal movements then usually ultrasound scan is recommended every six to eight weeks to monitor the growth of the fetus. Brief Answer: Next scan at 36 weeks. Detailed Answer: Hello. Thanks for writing again. After 30 weeks if everything goes well then you need to have next scan at 36 weeks. After that your wife will be asked to do daily fetal movement counts. In case the baby shows lesser movements or there is any vaginal discharge or bleeding or there are high B.P. records then a repeat scan is advised as per the need.
