Brief Answer:
Answer given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.

It is unlikely that the kernel of the corn entered your wind pipe.
In that case you will be having severe intractable cough and breathing difficulty.
Even if there is no cough ( since the cough reflex will be poor in elderly individuals), you will be having breathing difficulty.

Since you do not have any such symptoms it is unlikely that it has entered the wind pipe.

A throat examination may be done to see the cause for the tickling sensation.

Regards,
Dr.Barani
