Brief Answer:
Draminate.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Reduce oral fluids before getting into the car. Till then give him soft diet like white bread, rice water with a banana smash. Give syrup Draminate. This should be good before boarding the car.

Hope I have answered your query.
