Question: are my lipid levels extremely high for being 36 weeks pregnant should I be on medication at this point I heard during pregnancy is your levels rise but I'm not sure what is too high

Hi,

The total cholesterol is around 280 and LDL (bad) cholesterol is high at 170. but if you watch HDL (good) cholesterol is also high. So this means it is physiological raise during pregnancy. If you check the ratio of total/ HDL is under 5, which is a more sensitive parameter.

I suggest to wait and watch till 6 months post pregnancy.
