Brief Answer:
A rheumatologist or your GP for initial assessment

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can consider an initial assessment by your GP to determine the cause. Your GP can examine you and suggest initial bloods such as complete blood count, ESR (checks for inflammation- this can occur with some types of arthritis such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis etc).
Imaging eg x ray, may also be suggested

Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis (the most common cause of arthritis)- can both cause hand stiffness but with osteoarthritis, it typically lasts less than 30 mins

if you do not wish to be seen by your GP or have already seen your GP then a rheumatologist would be one of the best types to see.
Rheumatologists evaluate for all types of arthritis and conditions affecting muscles as well.

Websites such as healthgrades.com, zocdoc or webmd physician directory can give you an idea of the rheumatologists in your area

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
Note: For further queries, consult a joint and bone specialist, an Orthopaedic surgeon. Book a Call now.
