Brief Answer:
it is inflammation of blood vessels

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Vasculitis is basically inflammation in blood vessels. This may be a primary phenomenon or it may be secondary to infections. In a one year old we need to be sure that we are not missing any secondary causes. It generally presents with a skin rash, in severe cases can involve vital organs like lungs and kidneys.

Brief Answer:
wait for blood tests

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You know you will have to wait for the bloods to come back. Because they must be running tests to find out the cause of vasculitis or some related problems. They might be running tests to rule out infections.
