Brief Answer: Please refer to the following answer... Detailed Answer: Hi I read carefully all your concerns and I am sorry for your situation. With regards to your stomach problems it may be: -Chronic gastritis and treatment of gastritis continue until 4-6 months or stomach ulcer. -Dyspeptic syndrome Please can you prescribe the medication that you have used for stomach problem? I am happy to know that you abdominal ultrasound is ok so you have rule out the gallbladder problems and pancreatic problems that often are associated with your symptoms. With regards to your constipation and motion problems in last two month it seems to be a functional problem of your large bowel we call it IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). If I were your treating doctor to perform the right diagnosis I would suggest ruling out organic problems with: -Abdominal ultrasound -Colonoscopy -Upper endoscopy -blood work So I would suggest firstly changing your lifestyle: - Eating smaller meals more often, that are low in fat and reach in fibers like fruits and vegetables. - Use plenty of water - Increase your physical activity (walking, running, swimming) - Use fiber packets to ovoid constipation - Avoid using alcohol and caffeine, artificial sweeteners -Avoid if possible unnecessary stress. After doing this you should wait for three months to see any improvement. If you any other concerns please don't hesitate to write me back. Wish you health. Dr. Klerida

Brief Answer: Please refer to the following suggestions... Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXX, Thank you for sending in more of your medical data. Let me answer to your inquiries step by step: - It is normal for men to gain weight after marriage due to hormonal and psychological factors. However, you noticed that increase, so you now know how to overcome it. Lifestyle changes (especially exercising) together with diet changes can help you too. - One of the factors to cause gastric problems include being overweight and not being careful to the foods you eat. So, one important thing to do is to lose weight. Lifestyle and diet changes can help you achieve that goal. - It is true that changes in bowel movements, especially diarrhea can make you lose weight due to frequent motions. With regards to constipation, it can cause losing weight through decreased appetite. Please bare in mind that neither ways are good choices to lose weight. That could cause nutrient deficiencies in your body. - Laxoberon and Lilac include laxative and lactulose therapy for acute constipation. They are used for short term only, that's why your doctor shifted to Benefiber which can be used for longer period. Benefiber is the fiber I advised before to use to ease your constipation for much more longer. - With regards to artificial sweeteners, they can contribute in forming of the gas in the intestines and aggravate your reflux. - I have read your reports, your complete blood profile seems to be ok, while the ultrasound report was not visible; could you send a copy of the report without the photo? At the end, I still advise to do colonoscopy and upper gastroscopy. All the best! Dr.Klerida

Brief Answer: Please follow the suggestions below... Detailed Answer: Hi again XXXXX, Thank you for sending in the reports of your exams. I am glad to see that nothing abnormal was reported. With regards to artificial sweeteners, they are non-nutritive substances that give sweet taste to foods. They include sucralose, aspartame, acetosulphame, saccharin, etc. The only safe sweetener is Stevia which is derived from the plant of stevia. Yes, intestinal problems can make your mouth come dry: - reflux - diarrhea (dehydration) - candida infection Looking forward to have the results of your other tests! Dr.Klerida

Hello Doctor, I went to the doctor but it appears these tests are taken with a camera, unfortunately i am so much scared of camera tube to go inside me and ofcourse scared to get other disease if the equipments are used by several other patients. Is there anything else that you would advise me maybe through supplements or green foods to make it better? thanks for all your help

Brief Answer: Please refer to the following suggestions... Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXX, Do not be scared about camera tube. The tube and camera sizes are adapted to the colon size, so ti won't cause you harm. No need to be frightened. Furthermore, the apparatus is always cleaned and properly sterilized in order not to spread diseases from patient to patient. They are all sterile. Besides hygienic measures, I also advise to: - take fiber rich foods to ease constipation (fruits, vegetables, etc.) - take fiber supplements and stool softeners - drink plenty of clean water and all other advice as given earlier. Wish you health! Looking forward to have other test results in, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy results! Dr.Klerida
