Question: Hi polycystic problem diabetes thyroid no ovulation no periods for the past 10 yrs now trying with egg donor.

I would like to know whether due to diabetes will there be any problem in implantation and also whether my body would accept donated egg.please let me know what precautions I have to take.

And also whether my diabetes would affect the growth of the baby.please let me know whether it would be normal delivery or ceaserian.whether I can eat avacado fruit and take L-glutamine powder during pregnancy.pls let me know

Well controlled diabetes does not harm pregnancy or implantation

Hi,

If your diabetes is well controlled it won't affect implantation or pregnancy. Your body will accept donated egg. I have seen many successful pregnancies in women with such conditions.

You can deliver normally. C section not required.

You can eat avocado and L- Glutamine powder during pregnancy.

Sir,I would also like to know that due to diabetes I having itching sensation in my hands or legs frequently. So I used to take levocetrizine to suppress. Pls let me know that whether I can take that during pregnancy time.

Iam using insulin injection for diabetes. I usually used to inject in my abdomen. But after implantation whether it is ok.
