Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. Spina bifida mostly is a incidentally finding in imaging studies. When it is associated with symptoms, they are mainly of weakness of leg muscles or sensory changes. I am not shure about muscular sclerosis if it exists. Hope this helps.
