I need few answers to the question asked to understand your problem
1.Did the ear pain started sudden or slowly?
2.Which side of ear is paining or both the sides?
3.Is there any history of cleaning the ear by self?
4.Any complain of ear discharge-yellowish-pus,watery,reddish -containing blood or brownish-sticky?
5.Do you have complain of cold/throat pain/fever?
6.Does the ear pain on touching?
7.Do you have pain in ear while eating food?
8.Is there any history of water going inside ear?

Hi,
Looking at the information given by you ,you are probably suffering from Otitis externa(Inflammation in the outer ear).Cleaning the ear by self might be a cause.
You may find relief by taking the following medications:
Antibiotic ointment like Neosporin ,to be applied over the external ear at the site of opening of ear canal,
Analgesic with Antiinflammatory like Ibuprofen,
Antacid like Rantac,
Tablet Levocetrizine,if there is complain of itching.
After taking the medications for around 2-3 days,if there is no relief or if the ear pain is increasing,then it would be advisable to consult an ENT specialist doctor for the examination of your ear.
Don't clean your ear by self and don't allow water to go inside ear.
