Brief Answer: seborrhoeic dermatitis Detailed Answer: Hello, Welcome to healthcare magic. I have gone through your history and clinical photograph. You seem to be having a condition called as seborrhoeic dermatitis. It is similar to dandruff on the scalp. It occurs due to an yeast colonization in certain areas of the face where oil can accumulate like the nose folds( what you are currently having) , below the chin crease , etc. The cream you have been using is like a moisturiser to repair chapped skin. You may benefit from using 0.05 % Desonide cream twice a day - once in the morning after bath and once at bedtime for 2 weeks. This will heal the lesion. After this, you could use 2% ketoconazole cream twice a day for 2-3 weeks which will help to prevent recurrence. You could also switch to a mild cleansing lotion for the face like cetaphil OS cleansing lotion. Do not use soaps on the face. Do not squeeze the "whiteheads " in the area. The white area is just the excess oil and dead cells accumulated there. And not true whiteheads. Hope this helps you. If you have any further queries, I will be glad to assist. Take care.

Brief Answer: healthy skin Detailed Answer: Hello and welcome back. From the profile view of your picture, you seem to be having an oily / combination skin with open pores and some pigmentation. You have not specified the type of chemical peel you have done before. You could follow these steps for a healthy and clearer skin. 1. Diet is of utmost importance in having a healthy skin. I always stress on having a healthy diet to my patients because this is often the most neglected part of skin care regime. What you consume shows on your face. Have a diet with colored fruits and vegetables as these are rich in anti oxidants. Papaya is especially good for oily combination skin. Try to have it 2-3 times per week. Avoid fried foods, foods with a high sugar content ( high glycemic index) and avoid too much milk and milk products ( ice creams and chocolates). 2. Drink 2-3 liters of water per day. Fresh fruit juices and tender coconut water also help. 3. Always use a sunscreen even if indoors and even in winters. A gel based or gel cream will suit your skin. SPF 30 and above is ok . Use every 4 hours. 4. You could use a serum containing vitamin C at bedtime. 5. You could go for microdermabrasion treatments along with salicylic acid peels. You may need 6-8 sessions each every 2 weeks. You could alternate the treatments with each other. 6. You could take anti oxidant tablets or even have1 cup of green tea every day. Remember to follow a strict skin and diet regime for you to notice good results and to maintain them. Hope you find these helpful. Take care.
