default
Posted on Tue, 24 Feb 2015
Question: I am taking Triavil for my nervous stomach. I am taking Promethazine12. Mg. for Nausea and Dexilant 60Mg. twice for acid refluz. I am having some success but still get nauseaus after I eat and there are still a lot of foods that I can not eat ie: vegetables, apples and spicy foods. Any suggestions would help and I get a lot of gas pains, both upper and lower. I am taking Gas-X Ultra for the gas but it does not always help.

Brief Answer:
Hello, not much to worry.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,
Thank you for the query.
I understand your concern.
I think you have severe dyspepsia.
Also the doses of medications you are taking are high especially dexilant.
I guess you have a very sensitive stomach and triavil is a very good medication for same. Possibly adjusting the dose of this medication is going to help you in long run after consulting your treating physician. this will help you in reducing the dose of dexilant too in ling run.
In addition to medications life style modification is likely to help you in long run.
1) Eating on time
2) Taking adequate sleep
3) Regular walking
4) Avoiding sleep 2 hours after meals
5) Cutting down on stress and anxiety
6) practising meditation or yoga will help too.

Hope this answers your query.
Wish you a speedy recovery.
Happy to help.
