Brief Answer:
Combination of topical drugs with phototherapy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.

There are different treatments for psoriasis that include topical drugs ( topical steroids, retinoids, vitamin D analogues, salycilic acid, coal tar), light therapy ( sunlight, UVB phototherapy, laser therapy) and systemic drugs ( chemotherapy agents) in severe cases.

Best treatment is combination of topical creams and phototherapy. One method is so called Goeckerman therapy that combines coal tar with UVB treatment.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
