Slit ventricle syndrome is a clinico-radiological entity characterized by slit like ventricular cavity with symptoms of raised intracranial pressure(headache, vomiting, drowsiness) in patients with shunt surgery.
The ventricular shunt is blocked and cavity is compressed.
The exact pathogenesis is not well defned.
The treatment comprises, medications, shunt revision and other surgical procedures.

Hello Dear,
Cholesterol is an important constituent and need of our body.
Abnormal cholesterol levels are dangerous as it increases the atherosclerosis of blood vessels and thus cardiac illness, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, vision loss.
Total cholesterol has many components like triglycerides, low density lipids(LDL), Very low density lipids(VLDL), high density lipid (HDL).
The cause for raised levels are dietary and genetic.
For good cholesterol control take proper diet , soyabean oil or rice XXXXXXX oil and get investigated .
