Hi Sir,

Hyperglycemic is a state where in blood sugar levels will be more than normal values. Fasting more than 110g/dl or post food more than 160g/dl or random more than 200g/dl.

Seen most commonly in diabetics in whom sugar is not under control or newly diagnosed diabetic.

To confirm diabetes you need to get fasting and post food sugar levels and also HbA1c level.
