Brief Answer:
Beano, simethicone, probiotics, Low fiber diet

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

To reduce gas, try to reduce the intake of fibers. But you should understand fiber is needed for good bowel movements. So try to include fiber that is enough for a good bowel movement.

Take medications like Beano and Simethicone which will reduce the frequency of passing gas.

Take a course of probiotics also.

I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
Regards,
Dr.R.K.

Brief Answer:
Answer given below

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me with more questions.

IBS is one of the causes of increased flatulence.

Infection and maldigestion/malabsorption are other possible causes.

There is no need fr any other test if you have not lost weight.

The daily requirement of fiber is about 25 grams. Include enough vegetables and fruits which are rich in fiber so as have good movements.
Fibers are not digestible. That is the reason why they hep in bowel movements and also the reason why they cause increased gas.

As suggested in my earlier post, take Beano and Simethicone for relief from increased gas.

Regards,
Dr.R.K.
