Brief Answer:
Please repeat semen analysis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about semen analysis .

Following is my reply:

1) Your sperm count is normal.

2) Your sperm motility is not good.

3) You need to repeat semen analysis in another standard laboratory in your town as it is possible that this is a wrong report.

4) If still the semen analysis is same, you need to stop smoking and alcohol first as it is one of the main reasons for low motility.

5) Please lose weight if you are overweight. Follow regular exercise regimen.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Semen analysis is same no modification, you required the attachment i will send.

Answered by Dr. Mahesh Koregol (11 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Only one day gap has likely affected semen analysis report

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I dont need attachment as of now. 1 ml semen is normal and not a cause of worry.

You should have at least 3 days gap. Having intercourse one day earlier could give wrong report.

Hence please send me repeat semen analysis report.

Dear Sir,

My previous semen Analysis :-

Total Sperm 22ml/ml:-

Active motile - nill
Moderate -5%
Sluggish -5%
Dead - 90%

And my doctor prescribed me "Pop son" Capsule and stop the smoking and diet too.Take regular excise also. - i followed the same.

As per your suggestion i checked again my semen in different laboratory
without intercourse 4 days Result shows:-

Total Sperm Count is - 8ml/ ml

Active Motile -5%
Sluggish - 45%
Non Motile -50%

Why it is shows that, its any progress or till the problem persist,
and why total sperm count going down 22ml to 8 ml with 3 days gap analysis.

Brief Answer:
IVF is better option

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The total count has gone down due to probable effects smoking in the past which seems to have caused excessive damage.

With such count it is better to undergo IVF (Test tube baby) treatment to conceive child.

Let me know if you need any more clarification.

Brief Answer:
Good chances of pregnancy by ICSI

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

ICSI can be done by few sperms (10 or 20) also. Motility is also not required. Immotile sperms can also be used for ICSI.

ICSI born children don't have increased chances of defect. They are normal.

You have more than 60 percent chances of success looking at your profile. You stand good chance of pregnancy.
