Question: Sir i am having sperm count 58% and motility active sperms 30% and sluggish 35 % ,,is it normal
I am having cough dry cough ,chronic bronchitis for which i am using inhalers and acebrophylline 100 mg .is this tablets affect the sperm count

Generally sperm count is described in the million/ml.
Normal sperm count range:(5th – 95th percentile),15 – 213 million cells per mL
Normal motility range: (5th – 95th percentile),40 – 78%.
So if your sperm count is 58 million/ml then it is absolutely normal.
You have total motility is 65 % and it is normal.
According to new england journal of medicine:
A sperm count of less than 13.5 million per ml, motility of less than 32 percent, and less than 9 percent normal sperm forms predicted infertility.
According to scientific data, Inhaler and acebrophylline does not affect the sperm count.
Do regular exercise like walking, running, and medication.
Avoid alcohol and smoking, Avoid fatty/oily food
Take high protein diet, green leafy vegetables and fresh fruits.
