What Does This Pregnancy Test Report Indicate?
Question: Hi Dr,
Attached is pregenancy test report of my wife.
She has a history of forced miscarrage a year back.
Is it postive? If yes what do you suggest.

Yes, the test is very much positive and confirms that she is pregnant.
She should be continuing on following medications:-
1. TAB FOLIC ACID 5MG ONCE A DAY.
2. TAB chemogest 200mg X ONCE AT NIGHT DAILY. ( progesterone support)
3. TAB VOMINET 50mg once a day for vomiting if present.
Avoid intercourse completely hence and avoid long sitting stressful journeys or bike rides.
Congratulations.
Get a dating scan done in a week to check for location of pregnancy and also for foetal viability.

Thank you Dr she completed antibiotic course last week for vaginal infection i hope it wont make any impact further my wife is going to be 35 on 18th. Is it ok if we can do dating scan done in 2nd week of Nov (7th)

it is important tolerant which antibiotics have been taken first, but as they have already been taken, nothing much can be done, just that further care should be taken that antibiotics to be avoided unless absolutely required till at least 14th week.
Progesterone support shall be must and dating scan should be done between 6-8 th week of gestation , calculated from LMP.
