Brief Answer:
Repeat the test again.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.

As per your description, your platelet count is low and your MPV(mean platelet volume) is slightly in the high borderline. Your hematocrit is also bit high. These kind of blood picture is seen in conditions like heavy bleeding as prolonged and excessive menstrual bleed, after major surgeries, accidents, and physical/mental stress. These will revert to normal in couple of weeks in most of the cases.
As of now drink plenty of water and take adequate bed rest. Have healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Try to include more citrus fruits like orange and lemon in your diet, which will help to increase platelet count and will prevent bleeding.
Repeat the blood test after two weeks to assess the progress. If the count still low, you might require additional investigations like bone marrow examination.
Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain
