Question: Hello, My wife is 46 age and she is an non alcoholic person. After the body check up, the report showed that GGT-476, ALT-320, AST-116, ALP-135, WBC-11.5, elevated platelet count-372, HBV status not checked. Last year, we did the same body check up, she appeared absolutely normal. I would like to know the chance of my wife getting liver cancer. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. There is nothing to suggest liver cancer

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. In my opinion there is nothing to suggest liver cancer. A diagnosis of liver cancer is suspected when we see any abnormal mass on ultrasound. Then it is confirmed by a ct scan and a blood test called afp. I see only the ggt alt and ast raised. This could be due to any viral infection or autoimnune hepatitis. Tou can get her further evaluated for the same. Only an ultrasound of liver will be sufficient to see for any mass.
Thanks and regards
