Question: Paper smears revealed over an acute Inflammatory background, plenty of superficial and intermediate squamous epithelial cells. Also seen are parabasal cells and endocervical cells in clusters.No e/of atypia/malignancy.

Thanks for your updated information.

Pap smear test report suggests that there is NO Intraepithelial Lesion or Malignancy. Above cell types are commonly found on pap smear - mostly normal.

There is mild NON-SIGNIFICANT acute inflammatory reaction. It will recover within few days to weeks. You should avoid chemical bath products and condom for few weeks. Maintain genital hygiene properly.

Thanks Doctor for answering the query I was very tensed. This was my routine medical check up . Hope there is not him to worry . I shall see the gynaecologist to clear the inflammation.

Hope nothing to worry. Is the Pap smear test normal.
