Brief Answer:
Incomplete test

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
1) HIDA scan is used to detect any obstruction to bile flow from liver to intestine.
2) When small bowel increased intestinal movement present in area of examination (right upper and central part of abdomen), it make difficult for HIDA scan tracer to interpret the result.
3) In simple language it indicate that test was unable to determine any findings due to rapid movement of overlying small bowel. Indirectly this indicate incompleteness of your test and you might require another test.
