Brief Answer: Further information required Detailed Answer: Namasthe Welcome to Healthcare-Magic Greetings Dear Ms XXXXXXX ASLO titer and raised ESR are non specific investigation Raised ASLO titer denotes Rheumatic Fever especially in children. In adults it requires clinical co-relation . ASLO titer can also be elevated due to previous sore throat which has been cause by Streptococcus . Bacterial Infection as the cause of symptoms is less likely as total white blood cell count is elevated. Usually there will be some elevation. I would require additional information for me to be able to guide you further 1. Pain in left side: Is the pain in whole left side or left sided joints are affected. Is there ny weakness or difficulty in standing or walking 2.Is there any puffiness of face 3. Is fever still present, How long has been fever present, how much was the fever 4. is her appetite okay? 5. Does she have any swelling in body especially legs and thighs? 6. Any respiratory complaints like coughing, breathlessness? 7. is there any Urinary complaints like buring urine, increased frequency of urine 8. Is she on any medicine present or long term use of any medicine like BP or anti-diabetic If she is still having persistent fever and other complaints , she will require further investigations to know the cause for fever. Do get back to me with the details. Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy life. Take Care Best Regards Dr Deepak Kishore MBBS,MS,MCH Consultant Surgeon

Brief Answer: Possibility of post menopausal syndrome Detailed Answer: Hi Dear Ms XXXXXXX As previously told, she could be having Rheumatic pain. She is having Pain and there is no physical swelling likely there is no acute inflammation. Also possibility of Post- Menopausal syndrome needs to be considered. I would suggest you the following investigation , which will also be helpful as a routine health workup 1. ECG 2. Bone density measurement: It will rule out Osteoporosis 3. Ultrasound of abdomen. 4. PAP smear. 5. Urine examination Many post-menopausal individuals experience mild elevation of body temperature, generalized pain and body ache. Its due to declining Oestrogen and other sex hormones. Also associated Calcium deficiency will aggravate the symptoms. I hope she is not having any one sided weakness in the body. I would suggest the following measures 1. Ensure good intake of water: 3 liter a day 2. High fiber diet 3. Calcium and vitamin D3 supplement 4. Massage followed by hot water bath will be beneficial. Do get back to me if you need any further assistance Take Care Regards Deepak 2
