Brief Answer:
Probably your doctor is right..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX..

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

I am Dr.Senduran,General physician hope to solve your query..

In elderly, blood tinged urine could be related to atrophy of the urinary mucosal tract, which gets easily bruised and minor bleeds can result..

Also certain drugs like NSAID's enhance the atrophy of urinary tract and in such case the offending drug needs to stopped..

However i would request you to share the investigation reports pertaining to this issue and his list of present medications to suggest better ..

Awaiting your reply.

Regards
