Brief Answer:
Clinical examination by doctor is better option

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns about cervical length.

There is minor variation in ultrasound scan report as gestational age advances. Hence it is better not to go by ultrasound scan report alone.

I suggest you request your doctor to examine you and check for cervical length. If the findings says short cervix, you need cervical encirclage stitch. No further ultrasound scan is required.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Brief Answer:
It matters

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Yes. It matters. Even in third trimester short cervix means early labor. Cervical stitch at the earliest saves the pregnancy.
