Brief Answer:
Retro vetted uterus does not affect fertility.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to healthcare magic. I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.

When did you have this ultrasound? After delivery it usually takes 6-8 weeks for uterus to get back to it's pre pregnancy shape.

The uterus is bulky because of fibroids. Fibroids are small growths of smooth muscle cells of uterus. They can interfere with fertility if they are large or if they are encroaching into uterine cavity. The very fact that you have conceived recently suggests that you may be having small fibroids.
Retroverted uterus means the uterus is tilted towards back of the pelvis. About 20% of women have Retroverted uterus. This alone does not affect fertility.

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Brief Answer:
I suggest that you plan for your next pregnancy early.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Reviewed your notes.
One of the fibroids is large. Rest are small.

These fibroids may gradually increase in size. Therefore I suggest that you plan for your next pregnancy early, like after 6 months.

I hope this is helpful.
If you have further concerns, I will be happy to answer.
Best wishes,
Dr Rama

Do you think that it is wise to get them removed before the next pregnancy? Because the large one according to my doctor was in the way of my cervix and during my pregnancy my baby could not make the head down position. I had to have a T cut to get the baby out because it was difficult with the bikini cut. My doctor also told me don't get pregnant until next two years..... 6months later is safe to get pregnant in your opinion?

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Considering your age and the presence of fibroids I feel you need to start trying for pregnancy after 6 months as you may take longer time to conceive. It is okay even if you conceive immediately while trying. You will be advised Caesarean section. Any way because of cervical fibroid it is not possible for you to deliver normally.

I don't think surgery to remove the fibroids is necessary now ( as you have conceived in its presence). The surgery itself may cause adhesions. Adhedions can cause difficulty in conception.

I hope this is helpful.
Bedt wishes,
Dr Rama
