Question: I would to know if this condition I have on my echocardiogram will necessarily progress, or is there a chance it will not.

I had an echo done September 15/15 and results were as follows

Mitral Valve - Mild regurgitation
Pulmonary valve - trace regurgitation
Tricuspid valve. - Mild regurgitation Aorta - no regurgigation All else was normal with my heart. The same test in 2013 was done and the results were the same, except it had trivial for the mitral & pulmonary valve with mild tricuspid regurgigation. Aorta was normal, and all else with the heart was normal. My family doctor had originally ordered as he could hear a systolic murmur at the time.

Brief Answer:
They may not progress -

Detailed Answer:
Hi friend
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Trivial / Trace / Mild – are normal variations detected by sensitive machines / seen in most people,
There is usually no cause for concern – if there is no underlying problem (Like Coronary Artery Disease etc…)
They do not necessarily progress… / however, some minor variations may happen with ageing, because of thickening of vessels etc… / they may even regress - if there is a treatable cause, like blood pressure, that caused it…

Nothing to do – except to follow up yearly

Good luck
God bless you
