What Does The Following Stool Test Report Suggest?

Question: I had stools semi solid for past 7-8 days need passing stool for twice, Morning urge is normal while pressure builds up around 2-4 pm after lunch but I am able to control it till reaching home at 8.00 pm.

I have stool test report showing color brown, occult blood positive, pus cell 1-2 /hpf, epithelial cells 0-1 /hpf, RBC 3-4 /hpf.

I have tried O2 and PAN D

Pls advice

Looking at your description this can be caused by following conditions
Gastroenteritis or gut infection
Inflammatory bowel disease
Peptic ulcer or intestinal ulcer
Anorectal disease like hemorrhoids or fissure in Anus

I would like further information to guide you better like
Is it associated with pain and itching around anus or after passage of stool
Are you having pain in abdomen, acid reflux or gurgling sounds in abdomen
do you smoke or consume liquor?

I would advise you to follow these guidelines
Have lots of dietary fibers, fresh fruits and vegetables
Continue with PAN D and O2
You should take liquid paraffin as stool softening agent

There is no pain. I had started Tab ROKO toady morning which has given me complete relief in terms of urge for stool, there was no pain earlier too and even no, no sound in stomach, my stool is soft and has turned solid from semi solid.

No itching around anus after stool. No pain etc.

But since my urge has become normal I just feel little heavy in stomch ( filling feeling).

Pls suggest particular name of liqid paraffine ( brand name ) and how to take it and doze and how many times , days etc.

what systems I should look for as improvement /alarming.

Thanks. Pls reply quickly so that I can start liquid paraffine.

P.S

What symptoms I should look for as sign of improvement/ alarm.

I dont smoke / non alcoholic.

When ever I eat outside though in good eating joints or during travel, I usually get this type of problems, how to take guard against it and how to improve stomch system ?

What types of food I should avoid/prefer. I am pure vegitarrian.

This could be due to Acid peptic disease which is caused by stomach hyperacidity

Liquid paraffin or lactulose is laxatives, available as Duphalac ( trade name)
you can take 20 ml at bed time until bowel habit regularises.

To avoid such situation, you should avoid spicy and junk food or cold drinks
You should look for active bleeding or black coloured stool if it worsens, than you have to see a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy or biopsy if need be.

Improvement can be seen as return of good appetite and feeling fresh.

Since you are vegetarian so have plenty of fresh fruits and steamed vegetables
Curd and other diary products are advisable
Lemon water or citrus fruits will be good for you

You have seen a lot of improvement so you need not to worry
You should continue with PAN D and O2 with syrup lactulose (duphalac)
