Brief Answer:
Ultrasound required

Detailed Answer:
Hi and Welcome,

This is a very small lesion and there are no features of malignancy. I don't think that you should be concerned but you should do ultrasound to see if this tissue can be biopsied with fine needle.

If this can't be seen on lateral views then it means that it had very small width and this is a good sign.

Feel free to ask further.
Wish you good health.

Can you please review my mammogram and ultrasound and tell me what you think? Thank you
Do you recommend an MRI or biopsy?

Brief Answer:
Follow-up consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi, You're welcome.
I've reviewed the reports.

Biopsy is definitely not required and MRI can be done after 6 months, instead of ultrasound and mamography. It is not necessary to do MRI scan now.

Regards

I did this mammogram and ultrasound on October 29, 2016, should i wait till my 6 mos for follow up or should i do to confirm anything? Is MRI a more accurate test or are these reports good enough?

Brief Answer:
hi

Detailed Answer:
MRi is more accurate and most sensitive test for breast so it will clear this out. But I dont think it is necessary to do it urgently and you can wait for few months. Anything suspicious would be detected with ultrasound and mamogram...
