What Does The Following Blood Test Report Indicate?

Question: My Dr. has been monitoring my platelet counts for several years as they have been mildly elevated for 5+ years ranging from 460-500. In addition, every 6 months for several years my WBC and NEUTROPHILS (ABSOLUTE) are mildly elevated as well. I was referred to a hematologist last year and told I didn't need to return for further analysis until my platelets exceed 600.

What would be a common cause for mildly elevated results like these? Maybe something in my diet? I've cut out energy drinks and artificial sweetener and that has not changed the numbers.

Last CBC:
WBC: 11.2
Platelet: 465
Neutrophils (absolute): 7.9

Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Counts are normal

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I have gone through the details. So we take a count upto 5 lac as normal and yours are also normal. Elevated plt count suggest a myeloproliferative disorder like chronic myeloid leukemia, essential thrombocytosis and poly vera. You need not to afraid. But monitoring is must.
Thanks and regards

Thank you. Sounds like we are doing the right thing with monitoring and waiting.

During a lung CT in December (due to seeing something on an x-ray), a small 9mm nodule was discovered. I have a follow-up CT scheduled next month to check thr size and I am not nervous as I have been assured this is a common incidental typically benign finding. However, could the lab results indicate anything related to this lung situation?

Brief Answer:
Hello. They are not related

Detailed Answer:
Hello. No need to worry as they are not related. Small lung nodules are mostly benign. A low dose ct scan can be done once in an year to monitor their progress.
Thanks and regards
