What Does The Following MRI Result Indicate?
Question: Please can you explain , bacause the doctor didn't
Reason for MRI: arm/hand shoulder and foot numbness
Answer: modest sized irregular shaped high signal lesion, present in right pariental lobe white matter, which extends along the gray - white matter interface. High signal on T2 -weighted and Flair images. No associated mass effect, or mass lesion present with respect to this lesion. In addition thete is a high signal focus present in the right pericallosal white matter. No accute CVA or hemorrage.

Parietal Lobe is the area of brain where you have sensory cortex. This Sensory Cortex, as the name implies is responsible for you to feel sensations. This area is now affected by the lesion. So there is arm/hand shoulder and foot numbness
To Proceed Further, we have to do a Stereotaxy guided biopsy or Neuronavigation guided biopsy and find the correct nature of the lesion
