What Does The Following CT Scan Result Indicate?

Question: They found a lesion on my ct scan. I had pneumonia so they sent me for a CT Scann. Four weeks later they ran another CT Scann and the lesion is still there. It's 1.6 cc by .8 cc. Now the want to do a biopsy. IS this cancer?

There are some other conditions that could explain the lesion besides cancer .I understand that you want to know as soon as you can but i can't say if this is cancer or not without the biopsy result.
You are in the right steps to have the diagnosis.Only biopsy will show and you will discuss with your pneumologist for proper treatment.
Avoid heavy physical activity.
