Brief Answer:
Consult your doctor right away.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for the query under health care magic. I have gone through it & understand your concern
The swollen very tender/ warm vein on your wrist can be due to Thrombophlebitis - meaning a blood clot in vein with inflammation being set in.( more possible in blood pressure patients.)
The thrombus may get dislodged from vein & cause more serious health problem so early diagnosis ( to confirm or exclude the condition ) & needful treatment is very important in such a case The swelling of vein should be resolved at the site only..
till then you should-
- give rest to the hand/ avoid any movement.Better to hang it with a splint in the neck.
- No massage, fomentation to the part please.
- Have simple nourishing food.
- a pill of NSAID like Ibuprofen can be taken orally after eating .
I hope the answer has been guiding to you. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.
