Question: I have a ridge in my penis and a red ring around the base of the penis. It has bumps and it is sore. It appeared after using a cock ring. What could it be?

Based on the facts that you have posted it seems that you have been using cock rig to maintain erection longer .The bumps and red ring around the base is due to injury sustained to penis due to tightness of ring .

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters and using cock ring till it heals up completely.

What happens if you find purple on bottom of sponge part of the penis, and it is painful to the touch at the base of the shaft. Also the red ring is about gone.
