Question: Hi there,I have had pulseing in the right side of my head now for a week, dizziness for 3 weeks ,out of breath as well,I have sleep apnea and been using a c.ap mech in, that has made me feel a lot worse since I started using it two mouths ago,,I get dizziness if I move my head fast,I have palpitations all the time, but when I go to the doctor my blood pressure is normal, I have a drop jew so the machine falls off my face,every night,it needs fixing as I no that,but the n.h.s won't pay for it,I am 52 years old,and not over Wight. Thanks XXXX

Hi Mam,

Your symptoms are suggestive of Autonomic dysfunction secondary to sleep apnea.

Get a Tilt table test to confirm the diagnosis.

Also you need to get an ECG,2 D Echo of your heart to rule out any underlying heart disease.

Drugs like Fludrocortisone will be helpful to improve your symptoms.

NOTE:These drugs should be used under strict supervision of your doctor.

Also you need to get your machine checked by bio-medical engineer to fix it as it should not fall off from your face.
