What Does Painful Lymph Node In Groin With Redness In Vagina Indicate?

Question: my 4 year daughter has a painful lymph node in her right groin she also has dark redness in virginal area what the for this could be? Can she be getting sexually abused by some one and have the redness and lymph node because of it

Brief Answer: I do not think that she is sexually abused, Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic. If there is any infection either in the lower limb or groin area the inguinal lymphnode may enlarge. Sexual abuse may result in bleeding and severe pain. Before she has secondary infection leading to lymphnode enlargement you will definitely know it. As the girl is only 4 years old she will not hide it. Treat with an antibiotic like erythomycin for 5 days along with some anti inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen or paracetamol to reduce pain and inflammation immediately.
