Brief Answer:
HRCT is normal and it is confirmatory.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have gone through images in detail.
There appears slight irregularity in bilateral apical area which may mimic apical pleural thickening(apical pleural cap).
But HRCT(Thorax)findings are absolutely normal. There are no evidence of apical pleural thickening.HRCT is most sensitive to detect such findings. As HRCT is normal, you don't worry at all.

Apical pleural thickening may be normally present in 10% chest X-rays.It is not necessarily due to infection.Chest X-ray appearance may be due to normal aging process etc.

You may apply for reconsideration regarding job criteria as HRCT findings are normal and it is confirmatory.

Hope I have answered your question.
Further queries are most welcome.

Brief Answer:
Thickening more than 2 cm is considered as significant.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Pleural thickening more than 2 cm is considered as significant. In your case I did noth appreciate thickening. Further I don't feel apical pleural cap will be a criteria for job unfitness. Discuss with your doctor.

It is good that they are reconsidering your application.
