Question: i am 42 year old non diabetic female... last week my urine routine examination showed albumin in trace , pus cells 3-4/hpf and epithelial cells 4-5/hpf... do i need to worry

Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been detected to have UTI the causative organisms being E-Coli and have started Akikacin as per culture report .

Normally we give Amikacin twice daily for five days and switch on to oral antibiotics as per sensitivity report.Take oral antibiotic for one more week .This will eredicate the infection completely .

Ensure to drink more water .To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
