Brief Answer:
Infection treated according to culture report always.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i must advise you that, urine culture is most sensitive test.
For treating any infection,be it in blood, sputum, body fluids, urine or stools, all specialists, treat it, depending on the culture report.
As XXXX's report of urine culture is, most sensitive to Cipro and Cefotaxime, i would certainly advise, a course of Ciprofloxacin, twice daily.
A course of one week is advised.
Once his urinary infection is cured, his symptoms of frequency, should gradually subside. He should maintain drinking 5-6 glasses fluids daily.
Ensure he maintain penile hygiene.
Wishing him good health.
