Question: Hey doctor based on the ultrasound scan can you help me determine the probable and possible conception dates?

With ultrasound scan and last menstrual period we can calculate approximate date of conception but not exact date of conception.

But in your reports I haven't see any data of scan such gestational age and date of examination.
Please write her pregnancy weeks as per ultrasound scan.

Hey doctor can you explain how the conception estimation was calculated based on the ultrasound scan and information given. Just a heads up the last time I had sex with the lady was April 5,2016 and now I'm being held responsible for the pregnancy of this child. However i was informed by her that she was having sex with another guy 5 plus weeks prior to the date of the ultrasound was performed in XXXXXXX She said she had protective sex with him and they only had sex once. So i am confused about this entire situation. Do you believe it is possible she got pregnant the week she said We had sex April 5 week. According to the ultrasound was performed in June?

If she was 8 weeks on 2 XXXXXXX than ultrasound calculate automatically from her date of conception around 20 of April.
Hence intercourse would have occurred during this time ,maximally five days before of conception,because sperm stay around 5 days on women's body.
Hence in my opinion there are no chances that she have got pregnant on 5 April.
Because if she get pregnant on 5 April than ultrasound should tell that she is 9 to 10 weeks.
And if her last menstrual periods were on April 1 ,ovulation need time to occur.
But paternity can be determined only by doing DNA.

I understand your problem but her gestational age is not miscalculated because ultrasound scan is more accurate during 8 to 18 weeks of pregnancy.
But she can get pregnant on 5 April if she have a regular and 21 day cycle.

It is very difficult to calculate pregnancy as you think because we calculate based on her last period or by using ultrasound scan.

But while you have had intercourse on 5 April and she have periods on 6 April ,chances are very very rare, she would be again 8 weeks, because change only one day.

Ok you are saying that if we had sex April 5, and i use the pull out method. And her period started the next day she still could've gotten pregnant that week and still be 8 weeks gestational age dating from XXXXXXX 2. Can ovulation be that soon ?.

As I said in the other questions, chances are very very rare , almost zero that a woman be pregnant in this way, because we expect pregnancy if a woman doesn't have a cycle after intercourse.

And for more, you have used a pull method .
If her cycle is every 21 days , ovulation occur very fast.
We have some women that they have been pregnant and have had their cycle.

And more important is that paternity can be determined only by doing DNA tests.

Please don't fatigue yourself doing these questions because you don't solve anything in this way.

Excuse but it was a lapse expect but it was exclude pregnancy after cycle have come.
Hence I thing finally you are not the father of her baby.
She get pregnant on the second half of April but we can't determine exactly date of conception.
