Brief Answer:
Consult an Urologist

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I am Dr.R.K and I am pleased to assist you.

Prostate is an organ found along the urinary tract in males.
It enlarges in size during old age and can cause difficulty during urination.

If your father has any urinary symptoms like difficulty in intiating urination, dribbling of urine, increased urination during night or urinary tract infection, then he has to consult an Urologist.
He may do more tests like urinalysis, uroflowmetry and prostate specific antigen test.
Based on the test reports he will plan further management.

Regards,
Dr.R.K.
