What Does My Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?
Question: i just had my first mammogram.After a couple of days,I got the call for second mammogram and ultra sound on my right breast.They said they see shadow.I am really worried. it is my first mammogram.

Shadows in mammography and ultrasound(sono-mammography)may be due to many causes like cyst,mass etc.
It may be due to both benign or malignant reasons.
Both combined mammography and ultrasound are very helpful in diagnosis.
However FNAC of lesion is confirmatory for exact diagnosis.
If possible please upload full report for proper interpretation.It is important to know size of shadow,calcification,margins etc which are always mentioned in the report.

i have always do self breast exam,and i never felt anything. i also had my doctor check me as well. This is my first mammogram.
